Module 1
Values-to-Action Worksheet
Clarify what matters, choose a domain, and plan one small action that expresses your value.
Step 1: Clarify What Matters
Reflect on what truly matters to you right now. Use these prompts to guide you:
- What kind of person do I want to be in my work or personal life?
- What qualities do I want to bring to my actions (e.g., compassion)?
- If someone I respect observed me, what would I want them to see?
Write down one or two values that feel most important this week in the following table. Alternatively, you may have completed a previous exercise to identify your core values. Feel free to record those instead.
Step 2: Identify a Situation or Domain
Choose a real-life area or situation where you want to express your recorded value(s) more clearly (e.g., family, self-care).
Describe what living that value would look like in this context.
Step 3: Create Your Values-to-Action Plan
Identify one or two specific, realistic actions that express your chosen value in this situation. Keep them small and achievable.
Step 4: Reflection After Practice
After practising your value-based action for a few days, reflect on what you noticed and learned.
