  1. Pick one controllable action. Look at your rebalancing plan and identify the single action that depends entirely on you - not on a decision that's still pending, not on someone else's timeline. Start there.
  2. Track the friction points. When uncertainty or competing demands trigger stress over the next few weeks, note what you were thinking and what you did. Patterns become clear faster than you expect.
  3. Protect one recovery activity each week. Name something outside work that genuinely restores you and schedule it as a non-negotiable. This isn't a reward for productivity - it's the infrastructure that sustains it.
  4. Revisit in six weeks. Come back to the worksheet and run the same mapping exercise. You're not looking for perfection - you're looking for movement in the direction that matters to you.
